Why Worry? Phillipians 4:6

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. (Philippians 4:6, 8 NLT)

I’m so grateful for the simple things in life. My over analyzing brain often has its wheels spinning to the point of indecision. It’s comical that I actually am literally paralyzed, because I feel like it’s not the physical paralysis that gets in the way of a life well lived – it’s the emotional, the mental, it’s often my own mind. Thankfully, we have scriptures like this one to roll us and snap us back to the the unseen reality. I know what to think on…it is Him.

Abraham Lincoln Said…

“And in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.”
– Abraham Lincoln

Isn’t this so true?  I get it.  We all have this dream to live long lives and see our kids and grandkids grow up.  I don’t have kids, but I have friends and family I want to grow older with.

As I get older – hey, I’m not that old – I find myself more concerned about things that count. My family members and their spiritual and physical health are regularly on my heart. Spending time with friends and helping when and where possible is more intentional.

Hoping.

Making a difference.

Lending a hand.

Encouraging.

Cheering.

Praying.

Loving.

Wow, We Can Write Anywhere

Well, we finally did it…it’s a new blog. Not like there is a lack of blogs out in cyberworld…but here we are. Well, I act like it is ‘we’, but it’s me behind the slow typing or voice recognition…and it’s ‘we’ that will spend some time together. I am currently testing the remote iPad App and its remote post. Hope it works! OK, it works! This little puppy will come in handy.
